This is the original watercolor painting of “Masquerade” featuring two of the main characters from the Wisdom Novels® series.
The primary medium used was watercolor, but I also used Copics for the skintone, a Prismacolor pencil for the hair, and white gel pen for highlights on the feathers. The type of watercolor used was a brand called Daniel Smith. This was the first time I had used their brand. I only used two colors, a crimson and a turquoise.
The girl’s mask has three beads actually glued to the paper to give it a nice shimmer and make it more unique. The beads do not show up too well in the photo, though.
The actual piece is more vibrant in color than the photograph. It will come in a plastic sleeve to help keep it protected. Type of paper used is a thick white paper. Actual pieces are vertical and not horizontal like in the photos. 11 x 14 inches.
A copy of book 3 “Healer” a companion piece and latest book in the Wisdom Novels® series. I also have an extra print that is just the LineART. So for those who enjoy coloring their own piece, I’ll include that as well.
